Hard to believe how time flies, but little Marcus is now 6 months old! He just last week developed the skill of being able to sit up by himself, which worked out really great for taking photos! And this past Monday marked his adoption being official and finalized! Adoption is so beautiful.

Little Brooklyn is already 3 weeks old, and according to her parents the time has flown by! She’s gained a pound so far, and it was a little bittersweet for her mommy that Brooklyn is already growing up a tiny bit. Who doesn’t love newborns though! They are just so sweet and so small! Hard to believe that we all started out that size!
Brooklyn’s parents love outdoor activities and had the idea of using this mini canoe as a prop in some of the photos– what a great idea!! I just loved it!!
Little Ryder Cash is bound to love the band Grateful Dead. Both of his parents are big into their music, and his dad is actually a radio host of the “Grateful Dead Hour” on Friday nights at KOPN. Ryder already owns his fare share of tie-dye and there will probably always be an abundance of that in their family. Thank you Mike and Jess for being great to work with and for supplying some really creative prop ideas!
I had the privilege of meeting this great family, the Gallatins. They have a really intelligent and funny 3-year old named Dane (you should ask him to do his monster face), and a precious little newborn, Macy. Macy was awake and alert for a lot of our time together, so we got some stunning shots of her beautiful eyes. Thank you for allowing me to photograph your family 🙂
What an ideal scenario for an engagement shoot… beautiful day, beautiful yellow flowers and red leaves, beautiful friend Ashley and her handsome fiance Chris, and lots of easy smiles all around! Faith and Nate have been very gracious over the last couple of years in letting me develop and practice photography on them and their little cutie Stella. Stella recently has had a big change in her world, in the form of a baby brother. Little Noah being a healthy little baby has been an especially big blessing from God, and a picture of His mercy to Faith and Nate.

So we met this really great couple named Joe and Angela who just are in the final process of adopting baby Marcus. They are super excited about Marcus joining their family, and they will be really excellent parents to him. Adoption is a beautiful picture of God rescuing us from our mess and giving us new life and a future in His family.
