Sisters, Sisters!

Ayla is already six months old, and Ruthie is now almost 3 1/2!  These girls are so beautiful, and are growing up so quick!  It’s fun to see their personalities developing 🙂

 

 

 

Meet Weston

We have had the privilege to know Weston and his parents before he was even born, so his arrival has been much anticipated.  He is just super precious, and it’s been so good to get to finally meet him!

 

 

 

 

 

Meet Maisie

So I got to meet this beautiful little girl named Maisie.  So precious and tiny and new.  The day of this photo shoot she was feeling quite hungry, due to all the growing she’s got left to do.  Thankfully she was willing to take some breaks to pose for a few photos 🙂  It’s hard to believe we start out so small! 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Phil & Alicia + 1

Phil and Alicia are expecting their first baby– a little girl.  It is especially easy for me to remember their due date, because it falls on my birthday!  This is going to be one blessed little girl, because Phil and Alicia are going to make really great parents. 🙂

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Meet Jillian

I had the pleasure of taking Jeff and Sophie’s maternity photos, shortly after my daughter was born.  It was fun to chat with them about pregnancy and our little girls.  Recently getting to meet their newborn daughter Jillian was really special, and she is such a precious little baby! 

 

 

Our Sweet Little Anna

My daughter Anna is bound to be well-documented through photos in her growing up years.  Of course I took newborn photos of her!  It’s hard to believe how much she has already changed, since these pictures were taken!

The red lace Anna is wrapped in was a table decoration from our wedding reception.

"Hi Baby, I Ruthie"



Our friends the Rileys are expecting baby #2.  Ruthie is approximately 2 1/2 years old, and seems like she is going to make a really great big sister.  When prompted to say hi to the baby, she’ll walk up to Kara’s belly and say, “Hi baby, I Ruthie”.  She has proven herself to be really gentle and sweet with my baby daughter Anna, and I think that she will be a big help with her little brother or sister.

With Sophie’s due date less than 3 weeks away, she (and Jeff) were real troopers, walking all around downtown in 105 degree heat to get these photos. If Jeff and Sophie were uncomfortable, they didn’t complain–and isn’t Sophie just beautiful? They will be welcoming a little girl very, very soon…

 

Meet Samuel

Meet baby Samuel.  His parents have a really beautiful love story beginning in Haiti and continuing in Missouri.  It is amazing how babies show personality in facial expressions so early– Samuel is less than 24 hours old in these photos (hence the hospital bands still on his ankles).  

Meet Asher

Mike and Mandy are a great couple who recently have had a very special new addition to their family– baby Asher.  Thankfully, Asher has been quickly accepted by the family dog, Rex, who is very protective of Asher and keeps a close eye on anyone who gets too close– any time I would re-position Asher, Rex would get concerned– so cool.  Asher did a great job of tolerating being moved around and positioned, despite the fact that he was very awake during the majority of our pictures.  Pretty chill little dude.  I love his curly hair!  And I think you can pretty much say that Asher has been an Ohio State Buckeyes fan from birth 🙂
